The Management Team

This venture is managed and directed by the CEO/Operations Manager, the Landscape Foreman and an advisory team of individuals who have excelled in community building, economic development and strategic planning in distressed communities. The advisory team members understand the dynamics of poverty and the challenges that affect families and individuals who experience them.
Roanae Kent, Chief Executive Officer/Operations Administrator Ms. Kent successfully operated a small business in California for five years. More recently, Kent is a graduate of the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center. She brings the necessary vision and managerial experience to guide the social enterprise to success. Prior to this training she served as a Program administrator for over 10 years in the corporate sector. Kent also brings the experience needed to effectively manage the day to day business operations to manage the advertising, marketing, customer communications, including contracts, invoice/billing satisfaction, and team (staff) engagement.
Grafton Mims Sr, Landscape Operations Officer Manages a full range of landscape maintenance services from weeding, to lawn care, to trash pick up, and planting. He has expertise and knowledge of advanced landscape equipment including mowers, blowers, and trimmers. Experienced with controllers and drip/spray irrigation systems. He also has knowledge of plant care and application of fertilizers and herbicides. He works well with others and provides excellent customer service.
Carlos Mims, Classroom Trainer has experience as a DPW laborer supervisor for over 25 years. His expertise is needed to guide the on site team in the implementation of the maintenance and grounds keeping work. Mims plans to organize, direct, and coordinate activities for the workers engaged in activities, such as planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, flowers,
and lawns. Additionally in debris removal and limited recycling.
Our Mission Statement
The mission of this social enterprise is to hire local SF residents to provide landscaping, maintenance and groundskeeping services. As part of this mission we have created a venue for individuals who have been isolated and are at risk of exclusion from economic opportunity that can be provided through education, training and employment through the provision of a sustainable public service.
